Another thing I love about this particular poem, Rosemerry, is how in the telling of the specific hands you want in your hair, you still leave it to each reader what shows on their mindscreens. Specific, yet still subjective, modifiers.
And, of course, there’s the wonderful turn from chemical to alchemical.
