the autumn looks for us
finds only echoes

walking in the silence
beneath the river’s song
two hearts

birth me again, world,
birth me again—I think
I know too much
“Not all those who wander are lost.” -JRR Tolkien
I especially like the concluding “wander.” But…I’m thinking the second one is actually my favorite. Well, okay, you’ve made it difficult to chose, Ms Rosemerry. (And how wonderful is that?)
More such difficulties, please. (I’ll beg, if necessary.)
The title for this sequence is particularly well drawn, and I like how the first three are spawned of wandering, though number four cinches the boot laces.
“I think…I know too much.”. Good qualification here.
