“I am not thinking of…” Is such a clever way to make the reader see those things. Of course, biographically I am imagining you in the old orchard now passed into your past, but what a fine affirming line at the end, that blossoms are metqphorically so much larger than orchards.
Like trying not to think of the word elephant
you got it Val … that is one of my favorite books, have you read it, by George Lakoff. He was one of the mosts interesting people I read in graduate school.
