old moon notes
to myself, unable to read
my own writing
*
crossing the river
in a wide shallow place
these thoughts of you
*
this silk gown of shoulds
what a nice garment to
let slip to the floor

Number three for me! Not sure about that “wide narrow place” unless you simply mean to be slamming contradiction together. I can’t quite picture such a place in the river. I’d be drawn to a wide shallow place. It must mean something to you that I’m not catching.
You are so right! A wide and shallow place! How did I mistype? Thank you for the catch
