Oh, yes! Love this…….especially tonight!
Sudden and bright, the light of a life. Very nice for this day of ignition and liftoff.
The whole “hiding your light underneath a bushel basket” thing. Not apologizing for your brilliance. Along the lines of Dizzy Dean’s, “It ain’t braggin’ if you really done it.”
But, then.. Fireworks are an occasional show of lights and *pow*. If they were daily, would we still ooooh and ahhhh? And, too, they send critters scampering into hiding, into places to get away from all the sound and fury. So, yeah, don’t apologize for your brightness, your brilliance; but do remain mindful of its right time and place, its implications, how others respond. (Oh oh, sounds like I’m toe-dipping into, “apologizing.”)
Ha, thanks for the mirror!
