Rosemerry, Thank you for this project. I’m a new subscriber, but already–and in the post-election pain especially–I’ve been touched and strengthened by your daily words.
I’m looking forward to meeting you in the spring in Michigan as part of a group gathered by Jack Ridl. Here’s what I wrote to him a couple days ago. He asked me to send it on to you and I’m happy to do that. So happy to have your poems as a go-to every morning! Here’s what I wrote Jack:
“I’ve been catching up on email today, and this offering from Rosemerry connects perfectly with the thing I’ve been sensing that has made me question my response to the WTS chapel, among other things. “Attuned only to beauty/ how tender we’ve let our hands become.” Wow. I’m putting on my gloves right now!
I LOVE the way her fresh poems connect/reflect our shared circumstances/news/seasons etc. It adds a lovely dimension and is for my money a more than acceptable trade for the crafting that comes from long incubation.
Not everyone could do it, but I’m sure glad she can–and does!”
All best to you–and Happy Thanksgiving! Laurie

Laurie,
thank you so much for your note, and for sharing your response to the poems and to the practice. Yes, it has been a difficult time, and I have been turning to poetry, both for reading and for writing. How fun that we share a love of Jack! I am so grateful for him in the world. And Laurie, I look forward to meeting you this summer! All the best, r
A woman prayed for patience; and she was given a bad cook.
I also thank you for your poetry during this (as you recently referred to it, in your recent card to me) time when we’re healing as we’re reeling.
Ah friend, and the healing and reeling continues. Hugs to you, Eduardo
