like Merino wool, with its fine hairs,
its fibers short, useless alone,
that is all of us, easily broken,
weak, unable to do much,
but those single hairs, when rolled
together and twisted into thread
become not only strong,
not only useful, but beautiful.
…and provide dry warmth in a world occasionally too wet and cold.
I was thinking the same thing!
merino wool! Genius!
ha! are you a knitter, too?
no I’m a writer, and some of your choices are flashes of genius. I kid you not, as they say…
