I am so grateful to Evermore, a national, nonpartisan, nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of bereaved children and families, for inviting me to be their first poet laureate. I love their vision for for bringing the arts alongside their legislative and scientific efforts!
Read here about me becoming their poet laureate and offering quarterly poetry workshops using writing as tool for meeting grief. And please read more about the efforts of Evermore to provide equal access to bereavement services for all. You can receive their bi-weekly emails and get involved!

Finn’s gift keeps on giving 🌄
oh friend–and that is it. Finn at the center of this–the love for him, the ache for him, the opening and the devastation and the love light of him. It makes it all so utterly bittersweet.
